Vintage movie theater photos…

Square

The hubby and I are gearing up for our favorite event of the year… the Maryland Film Festival.

Things kick off with the opening night shorts tomorrow, followed by a long and wonderful weekend of mad dashes between theaters packing in as many films as we possibly can. Fueled by caffeine and sangria it’s sure to be a fabulous couple of days.

If you’re in the Maryland area I highly recommend catching a few films this weekend.

Hope to see you there!

Being in an all-things-film kind of mood (when am I not really?)  I thought I’d share a couple of vintage movie theater pics that I unearthed from the Smithsonian’s collection.

(I’m dying over how gorgeous the drive in theater one is.)

Remember to click on the photos to see bigger versions. Enjoy!…
