Ah the animated GIF. The go to meme creator for the 4chan crowd. The bread-and-butter of the Tumblr world. From skateboarding fails to LOL-cat snickers where would we be without them?
But what happens when you take the simple animated GIF and take it up a couple of notches? What happens when Animated GIF heads out on a hot date with Art?
I’ll tell you what happens. A love child called Magic is born.
In this case Magic was created by photographer Jamie Beck and motion graphics artist Kevin Burg. They call them cinemagraphs. I call them awesome.
