It’s amazing how adaptable we human beings are. A train apparently runs right through the center of this market in Bangkok 8 times a day and the merchants simply pull up their stall shades and lean back a bit.
They even know exactly where their stock can sit…including right in the middle of the tracks in some cases…to remain safe from the passing of the train.
The second video lacks the visceral appeal of the first, but is a much higher quality video that includes a passage through the same market (found via Kuriositas).
**Update**: Well once again someone has cruelly yanked a video out from under those that had embedded it on their sites. Never ceases to make me feel grumpy and put a crease in my forehead. I mean WHY people…WHY?
