“Sea Chair” serves as a wordless reminder about the consequences of our plastic habit

ChairFilmScreenShot“Sea Chair,” is a short, wordless film about what we are doing to our oceans.

It’s beautiful, heart-breaking, and perhaps even a bit hopeful… all at the same time.

The sea chair that gives the film its title, is created entirely out of plastic recovered from our oceans.

If you’ve never read about the North Atlantic garbage patch, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and the Indian Ocean garbage patch it’s worth taking a little time to do that now. (Those links will get you started but there’s LOTS more to be found with a simple Google search.)

It’s truly shocking what we’ve done to our oceans, and to our planet.
